arch manning is heisman trophy favorite ahead of next season
Arch Manning might be the next big thing in college football—and we're all anxiously waiting to see what he becomes. He is the new starting quarterback at Texas and has already shown talent under limited snaps last season, finishing just shy of 1000 ing yards and nine touchdowns across just 61 es.
He's not just a pretty face either, standing at 6-foot-4 and 202 pounds—Manning has the speed and agility to compliment his arm. But, with all this hype, comes all this pressure too. The sophomore is already getting early nods as the potential No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. After all, he is a Manning.
is cade klubnik finally experienced enough to make a heisman campaign?
Clemson is always close enough to get a sniff, pocketing double-digit wins in 13 of Dabo Swinney's last 14 seasons spent with the Tigers. Cade Klubnik has shown signs of inconsistency through his three years, always suffering a midseason loss to tarnish the season. But, it's hard to overlook his 3,639 ing and 463 rushing yards, stacking up 43 total touchdowns in his 2024 campaign. Plus, the experience of his first CFP stint in the first round. Despite the defeat to Texas, it was a noble 336 yards and three touchdown performance from Clubnik.
With Clemson's wide receiver room bleak and the program only recruiting one three-star player, next season will be a testament to Klubnik's abilities. The Tigers were able to buff up their offensive line, including four-star Brayden Jacobs, in hopes to provide more protection for Klubnik in the pocket.

Colorado's CB/WR Travis Hunter was named the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner. It marked just the second time in the last two decades that a wide receiver took home the trophy. But did you know his odds to win the Heisman Trophy peaked as high as +5000?
It was a tight race between Hunter and Ashton Jeanty, who was just 28 yards from breaking the single season rushing record. But, it was Hunters unfathomable efforts and stamina on defense and offense that was too rare and impressive to ignore.

- Five of the last six Heisman-winning quarterbacks were transfers.
- Seven Heisman Trophy winners of the last decade were all quarterbacks. The three exceptions were two Alabama products, WR Devonta Smith (2020) and RB Derrick Henry (2015), and Colorado's CB/WR Travis Hunter.
Making A Futures Bet
A futures bet is a wager made on events or milestones that will happen in time. The Heisman bet is a form of futures betting because you are making a pick based on an outcome determined at the end of the NCAA football season. The trophy is given out in mid-December and if you want to get a bigger payout, it’s best to lock in your bets sooner rather than later so you can take advantage of better odds. The closer it gets to Heisman voting, the more the odds will change.
How To Read Heisman Trophy Odds
The above chart features the odds for each top player in college football. At your sportsbook of choice, the betting lines would look something like this:
- Quinn Ewers +500
- Carson Beck +800
- Jalen Milroe +1000
This means that Ewers is the favorite since he has the lowest odds and the highest chance of winning the prop, according to oddsmakers. If you were to bet $100 on Ewers and he won, you would get a payout of $600 – your original $100 is returned along with your winnings of $500.
On the other hand, if you strongly believe that Jalen Milroe is going to win the Heisman at Alabama, a winning $100 bet on him would yield $1,100 – your $100 comes back along with your prize of $1,000.
Our Odds Calculator will show you how much you’d win based on the odds and amount bet.
